Vuly vs Kahuna

Vuly and Kahuna are priced very differently. Kahuna is a broad budget range covering several shapes and spring systems. Vuly is a premium range with longer published component warranties, generally higher weight ratings and a larger accessory ecosystem.

Warranty is the main difference. Kahuna lists a general one-year Australian warranty but does not break out separate frame, mat and net terms. Vuly publishes a 3-year frame warranty on the Flare and 10 years on the Ultra 2 Pro, Thunder 2 and Thunder 2 Pro, with 5-year mat warranties across most of the range. The frame is the part you cannot easily replace, so clearly stated long coverage matters.

The Australian standard is the other difference. Every Vuly model is listed as meeting the Australian Trampoline Standard AS 4989:2015. No Kahuna model is.

Choose Vuly if you want the longer warranty, a safety design that meets the standard and the option to add accessories later. Choose Kahuna if the budget is set and you want the most trampoline you can get for it.

Quick verdict

Vuly is the more premium range, with longer published component warranties, generally higher weight ratings and a leaf-spring option that keeps the springs out of the jumping area. Kahuna costs less, offers more shapes and model lines, and its larger models are rated to the same 150 kg per jumper as Vuly's best. If the standard matters to you, only Vuly qualifies.

Full spec comparison

Vuly's range is round only, across five model families split between coil springs and the leaf-spring Thunder line. Kahuna covers round, oval and rectangular shapes, mostly with coil springs, plus the elastic-band Twister Springless. Kahuna's smaller sizes are rated to 80 kg per jumper against 100 kg on the Vuly Flare, so check that row if older kids or adults will use it.

Key differences

  • Vuly offers both coil and leaf-spring models; Kahuna offers both coil-spring and springless models.
  • Vuly publishes a frame warranty of up to 10 years; Kahuna does not publish frame warranty terms.
  • Both cover round options; Kahuna also comes in oval and rectangular.
  • Vuly reaches a higher top-end price ($2,099 against $925); compare exact models if budget is a factor.
