Jump Star vs Kahuna

Jump Star and Kahuna both compete at the budget end, and neither has a model listed as meeting the Australian Trampoline Standard AS 4989:2015. Jump Star is a round coil-spring range; Kahuna also offers oval and rectangular shapes plus the round Twister Springless. If the Australian standard matters to you, look at the current Oz Trampolines range instead, which starts at a similar price.

Warranty detail is where they differ. Jump Star publishes 3 years on the frame and 1 year each on the mat and net. Kahuna lists a general one-year Australian warranty but does not break out separate frame, mat and net terms.

Kahuna is cheaper at the small end and has the wider range, including a 4.5 ft model for toddlers, oval and rectangular models, and a springless round line. Jump Star is round only, from 8 ft to 16 ft. Both rate their largest models to 150 kg per jumper, and their coil-spring models use similar spring counts at matching sizes.

Choose Jump Star if you want clearly published longer frame coverage on a round trampoline. Choose Kahuna if you want an oval, rectangle, springless round model, very small toddler model, or the lowest entry price.

Quick verdict

Jump Star's published 3-year frame warranty is its clearest advantage. Kahuna covers more sizes, shapes and spring systems and generally costs less, but only a general one-year warranty is recorded. Neither is listed as meeting the standard, so if that matters, this is not the right pair to be choosing between.
