We've compared four trampolines sold in Australia in 2026 on safety features, durability, warranties and value.

The four trampolines below cover different needs and price points.

Our trampoline quiz recommends trampolines based on your yard, budget and priorities.

Vuly Ultra 2: best value on this list

The Vuly Ultra 2 is the cheapest model on our list. It was released in late 2024 as part of Vuly's refreshed lineup. Vuly is Australian-owned.

It uses a dual-coil spring system. The update added flexible net poles, which Vuly says withstand heavy force without bending or damage. Other safety features include a superfine mesh net and a self-closing, full-length entry that's easier for younger children to use.

The optional ladder is tool-free, clips on and is made from a single piece of material.

The Ultra 2 is certified to the Australian AS 4989:2015 safety standard. Its galvanised steel frame, springs and jump mat have 5-year warranties, while the safety net and pads have 1-year warranties. The warranty is the biggest downside: the frame warranty is half that of the other trampolines on our list.

It suits families who want the lowest price without giving up the main safety features.

Jumpflex Hero 12 ft: bolt-free frame and 10-year warranty

The Jumpflex Hero 12 ft frame uses no bolts or welds. Jumpflex says this makes assembly faster and the frame more durable than a traditional trampoline.

The dual-ring frame has a multi-layer anti-rust coating. The frame warranty is 10 years, with 5 years on the springs and mat.

The SafeSeal system joins the net to the jumping mat around the whole perimeter, so there are no gaps for feet or fingers. The outward-curved poles keep the net away from the frame.

This trampoline isn't listed as meeting the Australian AS 4989:2015 standard, but it does meet ASTM F381-16 and ASTM F2225-15(R2020), which are international safety standards.

It’s the only model on our list with an optional slide.

Vuly Thunder 2 Pro: leaf-spring option

The Vuly Thunder 2 Pro is Vuly's most expensive trampoline, launched in late 2024.

Instead of coiled springs, it uses full-length solid steel leaf springs beneath the jumping surface, an upgrade from the shorter leaf springs in the standard Thunder 2.

The Pro has flexible net poles and superfine mesh. It’s also the only model on this list with no underside access, so children can’t crawl underneath. It’s certified to Australian AS 4989:2015 and European EN71 standards.

The powder-coated galvanised steel frame has a 10-year warranty. The leaf springs and jump mat have 5-year warranties.

All new Vuly trampolines now support dual accessory use, so you can use the basketball hoop and shade cover at the same time, which wasn't possible with earlier models. The redesigned feet are less likely to sink into soft ground.

It suits families who want a springless trampoline and can stretch to the higher price.

Springfree Trampoline: the original springless design

The Springfree Medium Round uses flexible fibreglass rods positioned beneath the jumping surface instead of metal springs. Springfree says the design eliminates 90% of product-related trampoline injuries.

Its safety design has three parts: a frame that sits beneath the jumping surface, the SoftEdge mat (Springfree says it's 30 times more shock-absorbent than standard safety pads), and flexible rods with no gaps or pinch points.

Optional wheels let you move it, an accessory not available for the other models on our list. Owners often complain about how hard trampolines are to move.

The warranty is 10 years on all components, including the mat, net and frame. It's the only model on this list with 10 years on every part.

It suits families who put safety and the warranty ahead of price.
